Independent developer petitmonte has released the real-time strategy game 'Peasant Samurai ~ The Country Held by Peasants' on PC via Steam. The game casts players as a peasant, not a warlord, focusing on village building, resource management, and domestic affairs over combat. It starts in 1488 and ends after 100 years or when all territories are acquired. The game is priced at 980 yen, with a 20% discount until August 17.

Independent developer petitmonte announced that the real-time strategy game Peasant Samurai will release on PC via Steam on August 3. The game is set in the Sengoku period but focuses on daily life and domestic affairs rather than battle. Players grow a small village as a peasant, manage resources, and develop the community. The game starts in 1488 and is cleared when 100 years have passed or all territories are acquired. Players sometimes take up arms to face the Oda army.
