MAPPA Releases 15th Anniversary Movie With New PEOPLE 1 Song
MAPPA released a 15th anniversary movie on June 19, accompanied by a new song from the band PEOPLE 1. The video, titled "MAPPA 15th Anniversary Movie," was first shown during the studio's anniversary lineup presentation, which streamed on MAPPA's official YouTube channel. The anniversary song is "Seikatsu" (Life), a track newly written by PEOPLE 1. The full song will be distributed at midnight on June 20. The commemorative video uses original drawings and storyboards to depict the studio's scenery and staff involved in anime production. PEOPLE 1 previously performed the 10th episode ending theme "DOGLAND" for the TV anime "Chainsaw Man," which MAPPA produced. The band formed in December 2019 around musician Deu, along with Takeuchi and Ito. MAPPA was founded in 2011 and has produced series including "Jujutsu Kaisen," "Attack on Titan The Final Season," "Chainsaw Man," "Dorohedoro," and "Ranma 1/2." The studio has opened a special website with the anniversary logo and details on commemorative projects.
