Netflix Replaces Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria With Peter Rice
Netflix has replaced Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria with Peter Rice, a former Disney and Fox executive. The company also laid off about 1,000 employees, roughly 6% of its staff, including executives from the unscripted casting and development team. The change comes after co-founder Reed Hastings left the company in June, and months after Netflix formed a partnership with anime studio MAPPA in April.
