A24's PRIMETIME, starring Robert Pattinson as journalist Chris Hansen, will release in Japan in 2027. The film depicts the behind-the-scenes of the reality TV show To Catch a Predator, which used sting operations to expose adults targeting minors online. It premieres in North America on September 25, 2026, and is in competition at the Venice Film Festival.
