REANIMAL Wins Swedish Design Award From Prince Carl Philip
THQ Nordic announced that the cooperative horror adventure REANIMAL has received the Swedish design award Utmarkt Svensk Form. The award ceremony took place in Sweden on August 27, 2026, with Prince Carl Philip of the Swedish Royal Family presenting the prize. REANIMAL is developed by Tarsier Studios, the team behind the Little Nightmares series. Utmarkt Svensk Form is presented by Svensk Form, a Swedish design promotion organization established in 1845, and is positioned as the organization's most prestigious award, selecting outstanding designs from a wide range of fields. The jury's selection reason praised the game for expanding the unique potential of video games as a medium of artistic expression through deep craftsmanship in environmental storytelling, atmosphere, and interactive design, noting that players are guided to explore, interpret, and construct meaning for themselves. Oliver Melrov, CEO of Tarsier Studios, said being recognized by Svensk Form holds great significance for the studio and its work, adding that the team is honored to help showcase Sweden's cultural presence to the world.
