At the Central & Eastern European Game Awards 2026, held on October 23 at Poznan Game Arena in Poland, Sad Cat Studios' REPLACED won Best Game. The title also took Game Design and Narrative, three categories in all. CEEGA covers works from Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine, across eight categories, and has run since 2018 as a joint project of regional industry organizations.

The mobile (iOS/Android) version of The Farmer Was Replaced, Timon Herzog's farming game where players write Python-like code to automate drones, releases November 2, per a Steam News announcement on October 21. The same day brings the DLC The Miner Was Replaced()_, which adds mining upgrades for drones and eight new underground resources. The Steam version has more than 9,400 reviews at 95% positive.

Sad Cat Studios' cyberpunk 2.5D action game Replaced, released April 14 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, draws heavy influence from Blade Runner's cinematic style, classic 2D action games, and sci-fi novels by William Gibson and Philip K. Dick, according to a developer interview with Game Spark.
