Ps1-Style Horror Game Photomaly Launches on Steam
Alibi Games and Revira Interactive released the first-person horror game 'Photomaly' on Steam on July 21, 2026. Priced at 800 yen, the game is available at a 20 percent discount of 640 yen until August 5. Set in a photo studio inherited from the player's father, the game combines job simulator mechanics with gradual horror. Players must take photos at the correct angle, develop film under the right conditions, and deliver finished photos to the correct recipients. Between jobs, they can customize the studio by hanging photos on the wall or creating PC wallpaper. Earnings allow upgrades to the studio and restocking supplies. The game features multiple shifts with strange customers, three photo development methods (camera, USB, film roll), and a tension-building horror experience. It supports Japanese and is designed in the visual style of the original PlayStation.
