RibCage Games Releases 'Alpha Nomos' Gameplay Footage
RibCage Games released new gameplay footage for 'Alpha Nomos' on June 10. The game is a rhythm action roguelite that blends combat similar to 'Hi-Fi Rush' with roguelite elements like those in 'Hades'. Players control Cello, a puppet who uses musical instruments as weapons to attack enemy puppets in time with the rhythm. The sounds, recorded from real instruments, change in real time based on the player's timing. Missing the rhythm produces strange sounds. The game emphasizes mixing quick eighth notes and rests between attacks to land combos. Upgrades, themed after real musical terms, alter combat abilities and let players create their own music. A demo is available on Steam until June 22. 'Alpha Nomos' is scheduled for a full release on Steam in Q3 2026.
