Ritual Tides and Tides of Annihilation Show New Footage at Future Games Show
At the Future Games Show during gamescom 2026, held on August 27 Japan time, two games received new footage reveals. Eclipse Glow Games released a development video for 'Tides of Annihilation,' a high-speed sword-action adventure game set in a London intersecting with another world. The protagonist Gwendolyn fights as a swordswoman using a 'knight summoning' system, which the developers said they carefully adjusted. The game is scheduled for release soon on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Vertpaint Games released a gameplay trailer for 'Ritual Tides,' a first-person psychological horror game set on Hortus Island, a remote British island that appears on no map. Players evade a cult and grotesque non-human monsters, scavenging food and ammunition while climbing sheer cliffs and exploring dim caves. The new footage shows a battle against a giant spider with a shovel, various creatures, and a suspicious old woman. 'Ritual Tides' is in development for PC via Steam.
