Solo developer Zyg Studios announced 'Rogue Striker,' a soccer roguelike action game for PC via Steam, targeting a 2026 release. The project began as a one-month challenge to create a playable soccer game before the World Cup, born from burnout on the developer's main project. The game combines 2.5D arcade soccer with roguelike progression through qualifiers, group stage, and knockout rounds, with player drafting, training, and cooperative play for up to eight players.
