SawyerK Games released Apocalypter on Steam on September 24, 2026. The driving survival FPS is priced at 1,900 yen including tax, with a 15 percent launch discount running through October 8. The game is set in an open-world post-apocalyptic wasteland where players drive a customized car, fight or cooperate with other survivors, and trade with factions. Players can attach any parts to any car without restriction, swapping engines, suspension, and radiators, and can modify cosmetic parts such as the steering wheel and seats. Survival requires eating insects, dog food, or unidentified meat, and players can cook animals and mutants. They can attach a dew collector and cultivation equipment to grow maggots, cannabis, and tobacco, turning the car into a base. Combat includes melee and ranged weapons, body armor, and healing items. Rusty nuts serve as currency. The game does not support Japanese, but a demo is available.
