Sekina Aoi's My Crush's Crush Manga Gets TV Anime
Sekina Aoi and Ryo Tsuzura's romantic comedy manga My Crush's Crush is getting a television anime adaptation, the pair announced on August 27. Tsuzura shared a commemorative illustration alongside the news. The manga, which began serialization in Hakusensha's Young Animal Zero magazine in November 2022, follows Sora Akizuki after he is rejected by Miya Fuwa, who harbors feelings for Asahi Suzukaze, president of the mysterious Clinical Trials Club. Sora joins the club to learn more about Asahi and discovers she also has a crush on someone else. The seventh compiled volume shipped in Japan on Friday. Yen Press has licensed the manga for English release, though no date has been set. Aoi previously created the Gamers! light novel series, which launched in 2014 and inspired a 2017 television anime. Aoi also wrote the Seitokai no Ichizon light novel series, which received two television anime adaptations.
