MoQ Protocol Goes Live at Tokyo VTuber Fan Meeting
Bootstrap Inc. ran a bidirectional live connection using MoQ, the Media over QUIC protocol, at VTuber Shion Gato's fan meeting on September 1 at KAIWAI Hatsudai in Tokyo. The company calls it the first commercial use of MoQ at a real VTuber event in Japan. The system carries 4K video and audio from the talent's home to the venue and returns audience sound, letting talents use their usual OBS Studio and VTube Studio setups.
