Elementa's 'V Project' Becomes 'StarToU', Reveals MacGuffin Group and Systems
Elementa has officially announced that its immersive 3D idol game, previously known as 'V Project', is now titled 'StarToU'. The announcement, made on August 20, 2026, also introduced the new creative idol group 'MacGuffin' and detailed the game's core systems for the first time. 'StarToU' is described as a community platform centered on idol culture within the game, offering an immersive interactive experience where players connect with idols through 'Echoes', a memory experience device equipped with 'Touch' technology. The new group 'MacGuffin' is a hip-hop-based unit with the concept of 'rebellion against rules x pursuit of playfulness'. Its four members, Tay, Yoora, Lim, and Noki, appear in a first PV with a cool street style, contrasting with the previously revealed trainees LEE, Near, and OCT. The game's systems include rhythm-based interactions and stage performances, where players can adjust characters, costumes, and card formations before shows. Additional content includes the Star Notebook and interactions via TOKI. The release timing is undecided, but pre-registration is open on the official website, and a closed beta test is planned for some regions in the second half of 2026.
