Takaaki Kidani is not mentioned in either of the two stories Yomimono has published about Weiß Schwarz Online. The most recent reporting covers Bushiroad's September 15, 2026 Steam page launch and wishlist registration for the digital card game, which is set for a spring 2027 release.
Yomimono has published two stories about Weiß Schwarz Online, the digital adaptation of Bushiroad's physical trading card game. Neither story names Takaaki Kidani as an interviewee, a source, or a subject. The coverage is about the game, not about him.
The earliest story, from September 4, 2026, reported that Bushiroad would bring the first playable demo of Weiß Schwarz Online to Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe, at the Bushiroad booth in Hall 6. The demo covers both editions, Weiß and Schwarz, with eight announced titles drawn from anime, games, and VTuber properties. The game is planned for a spring 2027 release on Nintendo Switch and Steam.
Eleven days later, on September 15, 2026, Bushiroad opened the Steam store page and began taking wishlist registrations. The story confirmed development by Furyu and Lancarse, a spring 2027 release on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, and the split of the eight titles across two editions rather than one unified card pool. The Weiß Edition carries Aogiri High School, Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko, The Quintessential Quintuplets, and BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!!. The Schwarz Edition carries THE IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, Sword Art Online, Touhou Project, and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica. Language support is listed for Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Spanish, with one player, or one to two in online matches.
Across the two stories, the demo was announced first, then the Steam page and wishlist registration. The release window, platforms, and edition split stayed consistent. Kidani does not appear in the reporting.
Synthesized by Yomimono from the cited Yomimono stories below, each itself
sourced, then editorially reviewed. Every
