Death at Fleming Manor Sets Steam Release for November 3
SUPERTHUMb, an indie development team based in South Korea, will release its medical mystery adventure 'Death at Fleming Manor' on Steam on November 3 at 20:00 JST. The game is set in England in 1959 and follows unexplained deaths at a country house on the outskirts of London. Players investigate crime scenes, examine bodies, and interview residents, then complete official documents such as death certificates and emergency activity records based on the evidence they collect. A key mechanic is the in-game 'medical dictionary,' which players use to interpret medical terms and support each entry in their reports. The developer says the game draws on the atmosphere of classic country house mysteries by authors like Agatha Christie, and recommends it to fans of 'Return of the Obra Dinn' and 'The Case of the Golden Idol.' The art style is inspired by 1960s European comics and the ligne claire style. The game supports English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese at release. A free demo is available on Steam, including the prologue and Chapter 1. The price is undecided.
