The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects Anime Reveals Theme Songs, July 10 Debut
The television anime adaptation of Fuurou's light novel series "The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects" will premiere on July 10 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with subsequent broadcasts on MBS, BS Asahi, and AT-X. The announcement came alongside a second promotional video that previews the opening theme. Japanese-Korean pop-rock band CROWN HEAD performs the opening theme "Wonder," and singer Kaya performs the ending theme "Hoshi Furu Yoru no Yakusoku." Five new cast members were also revealed: Rikuya Yasuda as Francis, Maria Abo as Francois, Kujira as Mole, Yoko Hikasa as Diane, and Nao Toyama as Eima. The series is directed by Kenichi Imaizumi at animation studio42, with series composition by Kunihiko Okada and character designs by Keiichi Tsuboyama. The story follows Dias, a war hero granted a domain with zero inhabitants, who must build a community from scratch with the help of a horned girl named Alna. J-Novel Club publishes the English version of the light novel and manga.
