Nirvana's 'Breed' to Open 'The Guy I Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All' Anime
The TV anime adaptation of Sumiko Arai's manga 'The Guy I Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All' will use Nirvana's 'Breed' as its opening theme, marking the first official use of a Nirvana song in a Japanese visual work. A teaser PV featuring the song's intro was released, along with a special video of Arai interviewing Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. The anime premieres in January 2027, produced by CloverWorks with Mariya Ise and Akari Kitō voicing the leads.
