Dogpile Roguelike Deck Builder Launches for Switch 2, Switch, and Mobile

Studio Folly and Toot Games released Dogpile for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android on August 20, 2026. The mobile versions offer a free try-before-you-buy edition, with a single purchase unlocking the full game. The price is 1,200 yen including tax. Dogpile is a roguelike deck builder where players merge dogs of the same type to create larger dogs. Each dog has its own shape and personality, and placement in the yard matters. The game includes more than 100 dog tags and traits that create personality synergy effects, enabling varied builds. Over 15 types of dogs appear. The console and mobile versions have been fully redesigned by hand for easier play on the go. The PC version, released on December 11, 2025, holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam, with 96% of 687 reviews favorable as of August 21, 2026. Developer Studio Folly cites Suika Game and Balatro as inspirations, blending the merging mechanic of the former with the card synergy and deck-building strategy of the latter. The port includes all PC content and adds new Japanese localization.
