Uma Musume Franchise Announces New Umayuru Full Gate! Short Anime
The Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise announced on Saturday a new short anime titled Umayuru Full Gate!, which will stream on the franchise's official YouTube channel in September. The three-minute short will feature all the Uma Musume girls competing in races, and it will premiere after the broadcast of PakaLive TV. Animation studio AtoriE is producing the short, and the franchise released a teaser visual. The premiere will include subtitles in English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese, and the franchise's voice actors will reprise their roles. This is the third entry in the Umayuru series, following the original 24-episode ONA that debuted in October 2022 and the four-episode Umayuru Pretty Gray, which debuted in April 2025. Scooter Films animated both previous Umayuru entries, while AtoriE takes over for Full Gate!. Unlike the franchise's more dramatic Umamusume: Cinderella Gray, this new short takes a more playful approach. Cygames has not yet provided information on the production cast for the new short.
