Appland Launches Appland TV And Appland NEWS On .LIVE YouTube Channel
Appland announced on September 16 that it will stream two regular programs on the .LIVE (Dot Live) official YouTube channel. Appland TV, a television-style variety series, begins October 9. Appland NEWS, an information program, starts September 25 and is scheduled for the fourth Friday of every month. The announcement came as a surprise at the end of a large-scale prank project involving affiliated VTubers. Appland TV puts VTubers through studio segments, location shoots, pranks, physical challenges, and collaborations, drawing on production methods from television. The four regular members are Carlo Pino, Hima Megumi Pane, Vermouth Belluna, and Yamato Iori. Appland NEWS follows a summer special that streamed August 22, and it organizes information about VTuber activities, new content, events, and merchandise. A campaign tied to the Appland TV launch runs from September 16 at 21:00 to September 23 at 23:59, with Amazon gift cards as prizes.
