Halo: Campaign Evolved Early Access Begins Ahead of July 29 Launch

R-Type Final 2 and Final 3 Evolved Get Free FZ: Formation Z Crossover DLC

Granzella announced on July 22, 2026, that it will release a free collaboration DLC for the side-view shooters R-Type Final 2 and R-Type Final 3 Evolved. The DLC, titled R-9Aix Extra Arrow, is a crossover with City Connection's FZ: Formation Z. It adds a new player aircraft inspired by the variable humanoid weapon Ixpel from FZ: Formation Z. When the Force is detached, the craft transforms into a humanoid form that can attack diagonally up and down. When the Force is attached, it reverts to flight form and fires wave cannons and lasers similar to the standard R-9A. The DLC will be available starting July 23, 2026, at 0:00 JST on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via DMM GAMES. The release timing for PC versions sold by NIS America on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG.com, and Microsoft Store has not yet been determined; Granzella said it will announce details on the official website and social media once decided.

Halo: Campaign Evolved Remake Launches July 28

Saved by the Ice Cold Prince's Embrace Light Anime Reveals Cast and Staff

The light anime adaptation of Hokuhoku Yakiimo and Kusabi Kurokawa's manga Saved by the Ice Cold Prince's Embrace has revealed its main cast and staff in a teaser promotional video. Miku Itō will voice the protagonist Katrina, and Yōhei Azakami will voice Prince Clarence. Yūsuke Morishita, known for directing I Want to Live a Long Life to Dote on My Favorite Stepbrother, is directing the anime at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio in collaboration with Stainlab. The anime is set to premiere on TV Kanagawa in July 2026. The story follows Katrina, the illegitimate daughter of a count and his maid, who is sent to the northern outskirts to learn proper conduct under a prince rumored to be cruel, only to find him kinder than expected. The manga began serialization in January 2025 under Funguild's Comic Spira label, and the original text story was first posted on Shōsetsu ni Narō in July 2023. Funguild describes the light anime as an adaptation of the manga version.
