Gyges Labs Brings Vocci AI Ring to Japan
Gyges Labs held a Japan launch event for its Vocci smart ring at Roppongi Tsutaya Books on September 25, 2026. The titanium ring records audio by voice, handles over 100 languages, and runs up to 8 hours without a smartphone. A high-sensitivity microphone picks up speech from as far as 5 meters. It carries an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating and ships in two colors. A charging case extends use to 32 hours and supports fast charging. The ring links with MCP, letting ChatGPT, Claude, Google Calendar, Notion, and Evernote read Vocci log data. Subscription tiers are a free Starter plan with 5 hours of transcription and 2GB of storage per month, a Plus plan at 3,000 yen monthly or 22,000 yen yearly with 10GB, and a Pro plan at 6,000 yen monthly or 45,000 yen yearly with 20GB. Crowdfunding opens on GREEN FUNDING on September 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with general retail planned at 49,990 yen.
