The two Sunrise and Production I.G films in the Armored Trooper Votoms: Haiiro no Hexe project have a teaser, a new visual, and a theme song. Mika Nakashima performs "Na mo Naki Shijin no Yō ni" for the first film, with THE ALFEE's Toshihiko Takamizawa writing, composing, and arranging. Mamoru Oshii directs, Ryōsuke Takahashi supervises, and the first film opens in Japan on November 20.
Sunrise unveiled the main visual, advance trailer, and theme song trailer for Armored Trooper Votoms: The Grey Witch on October 23. The film opens nationwide in Japan on November 20, 2026, as a Sunrise 50th anniversary project. The theme song is "Like a Nameless Poet," performed by Mika Nakashima with music, lyrics, and arrangement by Toshihiko Takamizawa of THE ALFEE. The CD single releases November 25 at 1,450 yen, with streaming starting November 20. The advance trailer opens with Maki looking up at ATs in a maintenance factory and shows her investigating Ash, the soldier called the witch of the punishment unit who always survives. The enemy Balarant army's AT Fatty appears for the first time. A stage greeting is set for opening day at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, with director Mamoru Oshii and cast members Miyuki Sawashiro, Asami Ando, Shinichiro Miki, and Yuki Kaji scheduled to appear.
Wave is taking preorders on Rakuten Books for two 1/35 Armored Trooper Votoms kits. The Fatty [ST Version], the Balarant Army machine built to counter Gilgamesh ATs, is a snap-fit, fully articulated model with polycaps at each joint, roughly 12cm tall, at a suggested 5,280 yen. The Berserga DT [PS Version] is being reissued, with a cockpit that holds a Fiana figure and a leg-stored descent gimmick requiring no parts swapping, at 6,380 yen.
EDWIN and Armored Trooper Votoms have made a collaboration pair of jeans, the Red Shoulder Custom Design. Pre-orders opened October 9, 2026. The deep green denim gets a stone wash, damage processing and black stains meant to recall the Scopedog. The back pocket carries a Red Shoulder marking and the leather patch is dyed dark red. Sizes run 27 to 34 inch and 36 inch, at 39,600 yen. Shipping is scheduled for late March 2027.
Bandai Namco Filmworks will release Armored Trooper Votoms x EDWIN Collaboration Jeans Red Shoulder Custom Design, with preorders open from Friday, October 9, 2026 at noon until Monday, November 30, 2026 at 23:59 on the A-on STORE and other sites. Shipping is scheduled for around late March 2027, priced at 39,600 yen including tax, and the purchase bonus is an A4 clear file with new artwork by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara.
Ohta Publishing will release CONTINUE SPECIAL Armored Trooper Votoms: Gray Witch on November 19, a single-issue magazine built entirely around Mamoru Oshii's theatrical anime of the same name. The volume runs 80 pages in full color, priced at 1,980 yen including tax, in B5 variant format. It carries a long interview with Oshii, who directs the film, and a talk between Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays Ash Vamps, and Asami Ando, who plays Maki Stauffenberg. Sumire Uesaka, cast as a young maintenance soldier, contributes a feature on her attachment to the Votoms series, and the magazine includes a complete commentary on the original Armored Trooper Votoms. The film opens nationwide in Japan on November 20, one day after the magazine. It is a two-part theatrical series, with the first part arriving on that date and the second part's release timing still to be announced.

The Quentian-exclusive H-Class AT from Armored Trooper Votoms gets a new sculpt with movable gimmicks in its pile bunker and swan-peak claw, plus a newly sculpted Le Shaco figure that can board the unit. It costs 31,900 yen and ships in February 2027.
BANDAI SPIRITS is adding the Quentian-exclusive H-Class AT Berserga (WP) from Armored Trooper Votoms to its HI-METAL R action figure line, with an all-new sculpt. The figure carries movable gimmicks in the pile bunker and swan-pick clang, and the set includes an all-new sculpted figure of Ru Shako. Preorders open on Premium Bandai at 16:00 on Friday, September 11, 2026, priced at 31,900 yen with shipping scheduled for February 2027.

Bandai Namco Filmworks announced a paid membership tier for the Sunrise official YouTube channel, launching September 1. The first offerings are full series streams of Armored Trooper Votoms and Future GPX Cyber Formula, including OVAs and films. Members get badges and stamps, plus a making-of video for the new Votoms film.
MegaHouse has opened reservations for the first entry in its VAKIT Platoon collectible plastic kit line, a six-mecha set based on the upcoming film Armored Trooper Votoms: The Gray Witch. The set, priced at 11,880 yen including tax, is scheduled to ship in February 2027, ahead of the film's theatrical release in November 2026. Each of the six kits stands about 80mm tall and features articulated joints, with pre-painted camera lens parts. The kits come in closed packaging, and purchasing one box includes all six types. A single-item purchase is also available at 1,980 yen including tax. The set is being sold through Premium Bandai, with reservations currently open. The kits are designed for easy assembly and diorama display, and can be painted freely for additional customization. The line is published by MegaHouse under the VAKIT brand, with the film credited to Sunrise.
Bandai Namco Filmworks announced that Armored Trooper Votoms: Die Graue Hexe will reach Japanese theaters as a two-part film series. The first part opens on November 20, 2026. The date arrived with a new trailer and key visuals. Original Votoms creator Ryōsuke Takahashi returns as supervising director. Kenji Kawai, known for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam 00, is composing the score. Mechanical design duties go to Yoshihiro Sono, who worked on Votoms: AT Stories, and Shinobu Tsuneki, whose credits include Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These. The project was first revealed in January 2026. The second film does not yet have a date. Bandai Spirits and Megahouse, two Bandai Namco subsidiaries, will produce merchandise tied to the films. Bandai Spirits plans a High Grade model kit and a Hi-Metal R figure of the Scopedog in a desert color scheme. Megahouse will release 8cm model kits in its VA-KIT Platoon line. More merchandise details are expected at the 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show, which runs May 16 and 17 at Twin Messe Shizuoka.
