Wasteland Gunsmith Simulator Announced for PC Via Steam

Publisher PlayWay S.A. and developer Quest Craft announced Wasteland Gunsmith Simulator on July 28, a post-apocalyptic gunsmith simulation game for PC via Steam. The game casts players as a traveling gunsmith operating a mobile workshop from the back of a camper van. Players scavenge junk and parts from the wasteland, then use a modular crafting system to assemble handguns, rifles, shotguns, and melee weapons. Interchangeable parts affect each weapon's appearance, value, and performance. Players also clean rust and dirt, repair damage, restore worn components, repaint, and customize firearms to fulfill orders from settlers, mercenaries, and gangs. Clients present different requests and circumstances; players can negotiate prices and suggest optimal weapons. As skills improve, client demands become stricter but rewards increase. The camper van functions as a home, workshop, and transportation, and can be upgraded with new tools and equipment to access more dangerous areas with greater rewards. The Steam store page is live and lists Japanese display support. Playtest participation requests are currently being accepted, with the test date to be announced later.
