Co-op Roguelike Weather the Swarm Announced, Alpha Test Signups Open
Beatrate Studio, an independent developer founded in 2025 and based in Trieste, Italy, announced Weather the Swarm, a 2D action roguelike for solo or four-player co-op. Players explore randomly generated caves and dungeons, fight insect-like bosses, and build loadouts with weapons like plasma blasters and flamethrowers. The Steam page is live for wishlisting, and alpha test applications are open via the official Discord. The game is scheduled for release in 2027.
