Envar Games Launches Magical Open-World Survival Craft 'Witchspire' on PC
Envar Games, a division of the co-development studio behind work on 'League of Legends' and 'Overwatch 2', launched its first original IP 'Witchspire' into Early Access on Steam on June 10, 2026. The game is an open-world survival craft title set in a magical world where players create a wizard character, choose a coven, and use magic for all activities including resource gathering, combat, and building. Players can ride brooms for fast travel, bond with over 30 types of familiars, and explore biomes such as the Meadows and Shudder Sands. The game supports solo play and co-op multiplayer for up to six players, with an official recommendation of up to four. Early Access is planned to last at least one year, with regular updates adding new areas, creatures, and bosses. The launch has been strong, with a peak concurrent player count of approximately 4,200 on Steam and a 'Very Positive' user review rating (83% positive out of about 370 reviews). A launch sale offering 15% off the regular price of 2,189 yen runs until June 18.
