Monolith Soft Announces Xenoblade GENESIS for 2027
Monolith Soft announced Xenoblade GENESIS, a new title in the Xenoblade series, during the Nintendo Direct 2026.6.9 broadcast on June 9, 2026. The game is set for release in 2027 on the Switch 2. The story takes place at the vessel academy Lycos (also romanized as Lyucos), where characters known as Vessels wield the power of Anima, the source of the world. The announcement trailer showed monsters and a vast world consistent with the series' style. The game is a new entry in the popular RPG franchise.
