Virtual Rapper Sakusuzume to Release New Song 'Look Ahead' on June 17
Virtual singer and rapper Sakusuzume, signed to Pony Canyon's HAMMER COLLECTIVE label, will release her fifth single "Look Ahead" digitally on Wednesday, June 17. The track is co-produced by hirihiri, a member of the music project PAS TASTA, and rapper and producer Yaca (YACA IN DA HOUSE). The song is described as a high-speed hyperflip track, a genre of electronic music defined by extreme editing, distortion, and heavy sampling. Lyrics and composition are credited to Yaca, with composition and production by both Yaca and hirihiri. A music video for the single will premiere on the HAMMER COLLECTIVE official YouTube channel at 8:00 PM on June 17. Later that same day at 9:00 PM, Sakusuzume will host a YouTube live stream where she plans to make a "major announcement." Sakusuzume began her activities in July 2025 with her debut song "Silent Prism," which featured lyrics and composition by Daoko and sound production by Pa's Lam System. In 2026, she contributed to the ending themes of two TV anime series, increasing her visibility as a virtual singer.
