Tonight, I Have a Date With a Serial Killer Manga Gets Live-Action Series
Fuji TV announced on Friday that it is producing a live-action series adaptation of the manga Tonight, I Have a Date with a Serial Killer by Kon Iguchi and Yuji Nakamura. The series will premiere on July 1 at 11:00 p.m. in the new Suidora Eleven programming block on Kansai TV and other Fuji TV affiliated channels. Super Eight member You Yokoyama plays police detective Shiro Isogai, and Nagisa Sekimizu plays Hinata Kuroi, a woman who can see the number of victims when she touches a murderer. The drama will feature an original ending because the manga is still ongoing. Hidetaka Sakamoto, Hiroki Inoue, and Toshimitsu Iizuka are directing, with scripts by Norikatsu Kodama and Kota Edatsune. Licaxxx is composing the music. The manga launched in Kodansha's Good! Afternoon magazine in June 2024 and has four compiled volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment releases the English edition, with the first volume out in March and the second due August 18.
