Clumsy VTuber Death-Prevention Game Launches on Steam August 5
SCRAP Co., Ltd. and Welks Studio released 'Yuru Yuru Seihaishin suru Oshi wa 100-man-kai Shinu' (The VTuber I Support Who Streams Casually Dies a Million Times) on Steam on August 5 at 16:00. The mystery visual novel tasks players with saving Arai Aranya, a clumsy raccoon VTuber and childhood friend of the protagonist, who repeatedly dies during her live streams. Players rewind the stream's seek bar to create a time loop, investigate the cause of each death, and send comments to alter Aranya's actions and guide her to safety. The game includes puzzle-solving battles between streamers, where Aranya can also die. The estimated playtime is 3 to 4 hours. The regular price is 3,500 yen, with a launch sale at 3,150 yen until August 18. The release was originally scheduled for July 29 but was postponed following the July 28 earthquake, as the game contains scenes depicting death from earthquakes and explosions. The Steam store page now includes a notice about these depictions.
