Tatsunoko Production Names Two-Year 65th Anniversary Year Starting October 2026
Tatsunoko is selling a two-year window rather than a single date, which gives merchandising and store partners a long runway and puts the older catalogue, not a new production, at the center of the anniversary.

Tatsunoko Production will mark 65 years since its founding on October 19, 2027, and has designated the two years from October 19, 2026 as its 65th Anniversary Year. The company lists the titles hitting milestone years in 2027, among them Mach GoGoGo at 60 years, Science Ninja Team Gatchaman at 55, Yatterman at 50, and Tekkaman Blade at 35, and is recruiting partner companies for commemorative goods, store and facility collaborations, and promotional projects.
The anniversary period opens a year before the founding date itself: it runs from October 19, 2026, and the company turns 65 on October 19, 2027. That overlapping calendar is why so many titles land inside it at once. Mach GoGoGo and Oraa Guzura Dado reach 60 years, Mock of the Oak Tree, Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, and Kaiketsu Tamagon reach 55, and Time Bokan Series: Yatterman, Ippatsu Kanta-kun, and Fusen Shojo Temple-chan reach 50. Time Bokan Series: Gyakuten Ippatsuman turns 45, Akai Koudan Zillion 40, and Tekkaman Blade 35.
Tatsunoko is also seeking partner companies for commemorative goods, store and facility collaborations, and promotional projects, so the anniversary is being pitched to commercial partners as much as to viewers.
