Rapper Tohji will appear on TBS Radio's one-night special "Shining Radio Tohji Tokyo Dome Chokuzen SP" from 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17. He and university friend Icto, of the comedy duo Ichigo, discuss how they met and their current activities. Tohji has said he will end his activities within 2026, with his last live at Tokyo Dome on Tuesday, November 17.
The broadcast is a recorded edition that airs in the time slot of "Noutou," the program by TaiTan of Dos Monos and Shukei Tamaki of MONO NO AWARE. Matsushige Nobuhiro, the director of "Noutou," said on his own X account that the special came about through a request from TaiTan.
Until Wednesday, October 14, the show is taking messages on the theme "Tell us about people who are in an absolutely impossible situation! We'll solve it!" The main program runs from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on October 17. Tohji, born in London and raised in Yokohama, also performs in the hip-hop unit and creative crew Mall Boyz with rapper gummyboy and art director Sahashi. He announced his retirement in 2025, and "Tohji Last Live 'TOKYO MALL'" on November 17 is billed as his last live.
