VITURE Beast Switch 2 Gaming Set Wins 2026 Good Design Award
The judges' citation treats the set as a design answer to a specific constraint: the Switch 2 as a hybrid console that still depends on a TV or a stationary dock for large-screen play, which the XR glasses and battery dock are meant to remove.

VITURE announced that its Beast Switch 2 Gaming Set won the 2026 Good Design Award, organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, with results announced on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The set combines VITURE Beast XR Glasses, the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock with a 13,000mAh battery, and a Mobile Dock Cover for Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 console and Joy-Con 2 are not included.
The award entry is not a single device. It is three: the VITURE Beast XR Glasses, the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock, and a Mobile Dock Cover for Nintendo Switch 2, sold as one set. The glasses render a virtual screen equivalent to 174 inches at a distance of 4 meters, with a 58 degree field of view and a native 3DoF function that keeps the screen fixed in space when the user turns their head. The dock handles connection and power from a built-in 13,000mAh battery, and the cover joins the console to the dock for carrying. The console and Joy-Con 2 are not part of the set.
