Rock band Wasurenranne yo will perform 'Nanmo nee', the opening theme of the TV anime 'Yani Neko', in a one-take video on THE FIRST TAKE. The video premieres October 21 at 22:00. The band appears with a support lineup two weeks after its 'I Love You' one-take. 'Nanmo nee', written by Takahiro Shibata, ran with the anime from July to September, and its music video passed 10 million YouTube views in under two months.
The band lineup includes support musicians. Wasurenranne yo formed in 2008 and today has Takahiro Shibata as its sole active member; he wrote the lyrics and music for 'Nanmo nee'. The song's August music video featured 'Yani Neko' cast members, including Yuko Natsuyoshi as Yani Neko and Tetsu Inada as the landlady. A cast version, 'Nanmo nee ~Residents Chorus ver.~', followed in September to mark the final episode, sung by seven cast members. The one-take video arrives at 22:00 on October 21.
