Shogakukan's Yawaraka Spirits website announced that Yuna Anisaki will launch a manga adapting Kazuki Karasawa's novel Kōkyū Gohi no Kuroshiro na Oshigoto on September 18. The fantasy story is set in the country of Ginran and follows Kairin, a girl scorned for her black and white hair, who reunites with crown prince Seiken years later in the imperial rear palace.
The Kadokawa web novel ran from April 23 to June 14, then saw print with illustrations by Kasumi Nagi on June 15. The manga moves the property to a Shogakukan website. Karasawa's other light novels, Too Strong to Belong! Banished to Another World! and The Weakest Manga Villainess Wants Her Freedom!, have English releases from Cross Infinite World. Anisaki's earlier manga with Momoshiro, My Sadistic Boyfriend, was released digitally in English by JManga and later by Azuki.
