Outsider Paradise Moves to Kadokawa and Adds Full Color From Chapter 19
Rin Suzukawa announced on X that her manga Outsider Paradise has moved from Futabasha's Manga Action magazine to Kadokawa's KadoComi website. The first three chapters are already available on KadoComi.
Reporting from 1 source: Anime News Network.
Why it matters
The move gives a series stalled since its 18th chapter in 2024, and its first new material since, a new publisher and a format change rather than a straight continuation, with Kadokawa reissuing the back volumes alongside the new color chapters.
Key Facts
- Rin Suzukawa announced on X that Outsider Paradise moved from Futabasha's Manga Action to Kadokawa's KadoComi.
- Kadokawa will release digital versions of the manga's two compiled volumes in early 2027.
- Suzukawa launched Outsider Paradise in Manga Action in May 2023.
Black-and-white art runs through chapter 18; full color starts with chapter 19, which Suzukawa is currently planning. Kadokawa will release digital editions of the two compiled volumes in early 2027, with an extra full-color chapter in volume two.
The switch follows a hiatus that began with chapter 18 in 2024, which the manga entered due to Suzukawa's poor health. Outsider Paradise started in Manga Action in May 2023, and Futabasha published its second volume in April 2024. The series follows five eccentric girls in an art club, the same club that appears in Suzukawa's earlier Asobi Asobase.
Kadokawa will put both compiled volumes out digitally in early 2027. The second volume will carry an extra chapter in full color, and Suzukawa plans to write the girls "a little more grown up" in the color chapters.
