A Returner's Magic Should Be Special Opens Season 2 in the Shadow World
The premiere moves the party into the Shadow World and leaves Romantica unaccounted for, so the season's opening chapters are built on a separate quest from the Shadow Labyrinth campaign the first season set up.

Season two of A Returner's Magic Should Be Special picks up weeks or months after the first season's finale, with Desir, Pram, and Azest inside the Shadow World. Their task is to stop an Esteban attack on the Holy Domain of Evernatten. Episode one includes a fight between Azest and Hawk of Crimson Blood, an after-credits scene, and an unresolved question about Romantica's whereabouts. The season streams on Crunchyroll.
Season two wastes no time leaving the human realm behind. Desir, Pram, and Azest are already inside the Shadow World when episode one opens, working to stop the Estebans from attacking the Holy Domain of Evernatten. Desir's knowledge of what comes next is one tool the party has. It is not the whole assignment.
Romantica is absent, and the episode does not explain where she is. The premiere pairs that open thread with a fight between Azest and Hawk of Crimson Blood, an after-credits scene, and the season's animation upgrade. The series streams on Crunchyroll.
