ABEMA Puts 70-Plus Fall Anime Titles on Free Streaming, The Apothecary Diaries Included
ABEMA is using free catch-up on a long-running catalog like The Apothecary Diaries to pull viewers onto the service, while holding back first-run exclusives such as Reincarnated as a Sword II for paying tiers.

ABEMA has confirmed its fall 2026 anime lineup: more than 70 new and continuing titles running free on its anime channels. Every episode of The Apothecary Diaries, from season one through the latest season three episode, streams free through the end of January. Sgt. Frog☆, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus and the Demon Slayer-like桃源暗鬼 arc sit alongside earlier-first exclusives such as Reincarnated as a Sword II.
The headliner is not a single new show. ABEMA is running every episode of The Apothecary Diaries, from the first season to the newest third-season episode, free until the end of January, an unusually long catch-up window for a cour that is still airing.
The lineup also mixes new franchise entries (Sgt. Frog☆, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus) with first anime adaptations such as Kanata Kara, Hotaru's Marriage and #Zombie Sagashitemasu. A group of 15 titles gets earliest-window streaming, and Reincarnated as a Sword II and the second season of Reborn as a Sword lead the terrestrial-one-week-early exclusives.
