Aoashi Season 2 Episode 1, titled "Starting Line," will release on Oct. 7, 2026, streaming on Crunchyroll. The episode follows Ashito Aoi after his promotion to Tokyo City Esperion Youth's A Team, where the technical gap from the B Team leaves him fighting for his spot. Kazuki Yokoyama directs, TMS Entertainment produces, and 10-FEET performs the opening theme.
The episode is called "Starting Line," and the setup picks up exactly where Ashito Aoi's season one arc left off: he has been promoted to Tokyo City Esperion Youth's A Team, the academy side of a pro club described as the best high school team. The gap between the A and B teams is the hook. Even passing drills are described as a trial by fire, with Ashito working to keep his place.
TMS Entertainment produces the second season, with Kazuki Yokoyama directing. Kouki Osuzu returns as Ashito, and the supporting cast includes Tatsumaru Tachibana, Seiichiro Yamashita, Taku Yashiro, and Shun Horie.
