Astrae Oratio Closed Beta Puts 18 Playable Mages In 1989 Tokyo
The test is the first build where the lobby connects story, battle, and character interaction into a single loop, so the beta is the point where the game's structure can be judged rather than just its scenario.
Reporting from 1 source: GAME Watch (Impress).
A closed beta test for Astrae Oratio, the new occult magic RPG from Dynamis One, runs from October 2 at noon to October 6 at noon on iOS and Android. Entry is limited to applicants who won a lottery slot, payments are disabled, and all data resets when the test ends. The build includes three main stories and two mini stories, plus enhancement, free time, gacha, and raid content, with 18 playable characters.
The closed beta is the first version where the lobby screen links story, battle, and character interaction into one flow. A day cycle structures it: the player clocks in at the Special Ward Agency, settles disputes between mages through a Trial, then uses free time to raise affinity with the cast.
Director Jungyu Im has described dividing the ordinary world as day content and the hidden side as night content. The writer logged in each morning, and found the scenario volume large enough to take about ten minutes per story.
