ASUS To Release 75 Percent TUF Gaming K4 Magnetic Keyboard On September 25

ASUS JAPAN announced the TUF Gaming K4 Magnetic, a 75 percent layout gaming keyboard with magnetic key switches, on September 18. It goes on sale September 25 at 16,980 yen in two model numbers, one black and one white. The switches adjust actuation from 0.1mm to 3.3mm in 0.01mm steps, and the board supports hot-swap, an 8,000Hz polling rate, and Rapid Trigger and Speed Tap modes.

The board carries a gasket mount structure and five layers of sound-absorbing material, including PORON pads and silicone sheets, aimed at cutting reverberation and metallic noise. Keycaps are double-shot PBT, which ASUS says resists shine and wear over long use.

Two colors ship: black and white. Input latency is listed at 0.125ms, and the 75 percent chassis keeps a dedicated volume knob for on-the-fly adjustment during play. Both model numbers use the same switch and feature set, so the choice comes down to color.
