Aya Hirano Posts Photo Of Haruhi Suzumiya Cast At Joint Birthday Party
The photo is the fan-visible artifact of a reunion year: the same year the TV anime marks 20 years, the cast that fans associate with the SOS Brigade met off-screen, on the birthday month Hirano names in the post.

Voice actress Aya Hirano posted photos on X of the Haruhi Suzumiya voice cast gathered for a joint birthday party. Hirano wrote that Haruhi, Kyon, the younger sister, and Taniguchi were all born in October, so Yuki, Mikuru, Koizumi, and Kunikida celebrated for them. She added that the five had gathered often this year with the 20th anniversary, and that eating a meal with this group meant 20 years had passed.
The post is specific about who was born when. Hirano named Haruhi, Kyon, the younger sister, and Taniguchi as the October birthdays, and Yuki, Mikuru, Koizumi, and Kunikida as the ones who did the celebrating. She also wrote that the five had already gathered often this year, tied to the 20th anniversary, and that sharing a meal with this particular group made the span feel real.
Replies under the post centered on the lineup itself and on seeing the cast together again. Several comments said the group gathering made them happy by extension.
