Bandai's Miffy Carabiner Mascots Come In Five Types This October
A five-type set at 500 yen per play with repeat shipments is Bandai running a licensed character gashapon as volume stock rather than a one-batch collectible, which is how the low-price capsule aisle keeps an evergreen license on shelves.

Bandai will release the Gashapon "miffy Colorful Carabiner Mascot" from the fourth week of October. Each mascot has a fluffy flocked finish and measures about 5.5 cm. The lineup has five types: miffy, boris, dan, ghost, and miffy crown. Each comes with a carabiner in a color matching the mascot. Price is 500 yen per play, tax included, and Bandai plans multiple shipments after the initial release.
The set runs to five characters, and each mascot ships with a carabiner matched to its own color, so the capsule doubles as a bag accessory rather than a shelf item. The flocked finish is the other selling point: a fuzzy surface on a 5.5 cm figure, which is a harder finish to produce at capsule-toy price than a plain molded one. Bandai has said the line will ship several times after the October debut, so supply is not meant to end with the first batch.
