The Ichiban Kuji line draws its roster from the Hidan and Kakuzu arc of the Naruto Shippuden anime, and the four MASTERLISE figures in Prizes A through D cover Shikamaru Nara, Asuma Sarutobi, Hidan, and Kakuzu rather than Naruto Uzumaki himself. Naruto appears only on the Last One Prize, a MASTERLISE figure posed with Wind Style: Rasenshuriken, awarded to whoever draws the final ticket.
Fan reaction posted after the reveal runs in two directions. Comments circulated about the Jashinism rug, including the idea of acting out Hidan's role with it, and about securing the Shikamaru and Asuma figures. Other replies focused on where the kuji can be bought, with complaints that a Monday launch is hard to attend and requests to sell the set in physical stores rather than online only.
