Biblia's Case Files Anime Adds Four Cast Members, Sets April 2027 Debut
An anime film adaptation that Kadokawa announced in 2017 was never released, so the project reaches the screen a decade later as a television series at CloverWorks under Mamoru Kanbe rather than as the film originally planned.

The Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival Online 2026 hosted the first full promotional video for the television anime of En Mikami's Antiquarian Bookshop Biblia's Case Files novels. The video names Reo Osanai as Ayaka Shinokawa, Wataru Takagi as Shida, Yōhei Azakami as Kikuya Kasai and Saeko Kamijō as Nao Kosuga, plus staff including assistant director Kento Matsui, and gives an April 2027 premiere.
The first full promotional video came out of the Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival Online 2026 on Saturday, and it also filled in the production bench around director Mamoru Kanbe at CloverWorks. Ayako Kurata is assistant director, Toshiya Ono writes the series scripts, and Jun Nakai designs the characters while serving as chief animation director, with Takahiro Obata composing. Riko Akechi and Shunsuke Takeuchi lead the cast. The novel series has run since 2011 with art by Hagu Koshijima, and the 11th volume shipped in March 2024.
