The crossover lands on the same day the anime's new season premieres, tying the Fortnite event to the returning TV production rather than treating the skins as a standalone promotion.

Epic Games announced on Saturday that Black Clover characters Asta, Yuno, and Noelle are available as cosmetic skins in Fortnite Battle Royale for the annual Fortnitemares event. The items include grimoire back bling, sword and wand pickaxes, an Anti-Magic weapon wrap, and a Nissan GT-R Nismo car body with two Anti-Magic tires. Epic teased the collaboration in its Fortnitemares trailer on September 29. The new Black Clover season premiered the same Saturday, with Studio Pierrot returning.
The Black Clover items are split across character skins, back bling, pickaxes, a weapon wrap, and a car body with tires, all sold in the Fortnite Shop. Epic Games had already shown the Asta skin in its Fortnitemares trailer on September 29, briefly in Asta's Devil Form, before confirming the full set on Saturday. The skins arrive alongside the new Black Clover season, which premiered Saturday with Studio Pierrot animating and Crunchyroll streaming. The Fortnitemares event is an annual Fortnite Battle Royale promotion.
