Tarusuke Shingaki will voice Hikaru Oya in the Bless television anime, revealed in a character promotional video on Thursday. Crunchyroll also announced on Thursday that it will stream the series worldwide excluding Japan and China when it debuts in January 2027 on Fuji TV's Noitamina block. Shōtarō Kitamura directs at A-1 Pictures, with Fukurou Kamiza on series scripts.
Shingaki joins a cast led by Tomohiro Ōno as Aia Udagawa and Chiyuki Miura as Jun Sumisaki, with Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yoshino Aoyama, Momoka Terasawa and Kentarō Kumagai also named. The series adapts Yukino Sonoyama's manga, which Kodansha says has more than 1.25 million copies in circulation and whose ninth volume shipped on October 8.
A-1 Pictures handles animation, with Takayuki Kikuchi as assistant director and Honoka Yokoyama as character designer and chief animation director. The same manga is also getting a live-action series for Amazon Prime Video in spring 2027.
