Boichi's The Marshal King Manga Ends October 16
A Shonen Jump+ series that spent nine months on hiatus wraps a chapter after its return, so the ending lands on a serialization schedule that was interrupted rather than continuous.

The Marshal King, Boichi's western manga, announced in its 33rd chapter that it ends in the next chapter on October 16. The series went on hiatus in December and resumed on September 4. Boichi launched it in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ in February 2025, and Shueisha published the third volume in Japan in November 2025. Viz Media and MANGA Plus release it in English.
The 33rd chapter carried the notice, meaning the October 16 chapter closes a run that only restarted on September 4. Boichi began the series in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ in February 2025, and Shueisha put out the third collected volume in Japan in November 2025. English readers follow it through Viz Media's release and Shueisha's MANGA Plus. Boichi's other long serialization, drawn with writer Riichirou Inagaki, ran 26 volumes in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2017 to March 2022 and has since produced multiple anime seasons.
