Shogakukan has published the novels through its Gagaga Bunko imprint since May 2016, with illustrations by Fly. The series entered its "last stage" with the 11th volume in March 2023. Yen Press releases the light novels and the manga adaptation in North America. Eight Chida drew the manga for Square Enix, serialized in Monthly Gangan Joker from December 2017 to February 2021. Project No. 9 produced two anime seasons, directed by Shinsuke Yanagi, with Gen Satou as Fumiya Tomozaki and Hisako Kanemoto as Aoi Hinami. The series began publication in May 2016. Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint handled the novels, with Fly's illustrations. The announcement came from Yuki Yaku's own X account rather than a publisher press release, and the two cluster reports describe the 12th volume as the final one.
Beyond the novels, the property spread into a Square Enix manga adapted by Eight Chida that ran in Monthly Gangan Joker from December 2017 to February 2021, plus a spin-off manga, Minami Nanami Wants to Shine, illustrated by Bana Yoshida and serialized in Monthly Sunday Gene-X and MangaONE. Yen Press handles the English editions of both the novels and the manga. The anime side is Project No. 9 with director Shinsuke Yanagi, and the cast includes Ai Kayano as Fuuka Kikuchi, Akane Fujita as Tsugumi Narita, Ikumi Hasegawa as Minami Nanami, and Ryouko Maekawa as Hanabi Natsubayashi. Two OVA episodes shipped with the third and fourth Blu-ray and DVD volumes in May and June 2021.
